Yep rain forecast Saturday but bright spells, dry and not toooo cold on Sunday. Basically peeps may want to do some reading on the following as if everyone agrees was planning on dong a run followed by brief stop at Tissington (good photo opportunities), n'other run and stopping at Ilam Hall tea rooms (£1.50 parking or free to NT members) again good photos opps, scoot down to Milldale for n'other looksee around the River Dove which is the opposite end to DoveDale and Ilam - very nice walking for those that wish to return at another date. May then do a brief run on the boring main road for 2/3 miles and then turn off for Winster, Elton, Youlgreave and up over Chelmorton Moor for another brief stop at Magpie Mine (old lead mine) Could then have a quick squirt into Buxton for n'other looksee or instead just drop down to Longnor, Hartington and through the Swainsley tunnel (if I can find it!) to Wetton Mill and the tea rooms. The idea is to give peeps a flavour of the Peaks by brief stops to experience sights rather than a 2/3 hour solid blast, that way hopefully some of you will feel sufficiently impressed to come back of your own accord and experienced it in summer, plus it promotes team bonding! (yeah I know I'm full of c*ap ;))
Now you will have to bear with me if things don't go smoothly as the proposed recce on the previous two weekends was scuppered due to myself getting this bug that lots seem to be getting. Anyway what are peoples thoughts on the proposal?

We won't be with you physically but we will in spirit. It looks a good run you've put together Adrian, don't forget the write up thread with photos to prove it;). Make sure you can find the tunnel and hope there are no walkers/cyclists about. We'll be tootling over Rutland Water way, hope the weather holds:thumbsup:

The tunnel used to be part of my regular cycling route when I was younger and fitter so I know where it is.
