Don't get it Frankie, what you on about?......I saw a post about this on another forum some one sent me to about the top. Something about spacers. I'll have to look at it again.
On t his post, a link to another forum was given. This link showed another z owner changing his soft top.Don't get it Frankie, what you on about?......
More on that...My seats have some play in them and I think I must replace something,Bushings? while they're out.
Well if you do Frankie, please take some pics when you do and may be a write up?
There's a large rubber strip that attaches later.Sorry @FRANKIE had to look away, that looks like it could be one major balls up with leaking at the back of the soft top when it is finished.
I thought about that very hard before I started. I did a lot of research with respect to people who have done it and u-tube. The more I looked at it, the more I realized that it really wasn't that hard but tedious. And it certainly is! But it is do-able. Frankie (of course, I'm not done yet so the opinion might change).Your a brave man Frankie, I'm getting to the age, where I think it's better to get a man in to do the job
Will post a video later on how that is taken care of. Going to work now. FrankieSorry @FRANKIE had to look away, that looks like it could be one major balls up with leaking at the back of the soft top when it is finished.
Here's the vid I promised you about the drainage rubber strip. This shows how and where the water goes after it runs down the back of your roof. FrankieSorry @FRANKIE had to look away, that looks like it could be one major balls up with leaking at the back of the soft top when it is finished.
Nice one Frankie. You amaze me by trying to do any job without fear or prejudice, I think that is all part of the American way, well done. I have to admit that it's not something I'm willing to try for myself. Looking forward to the end when you take your assistants for a ride again. Your dear wife must have much more patience than mine too.
Tony.
