The rims are 18" 8.5 & 9.5 so thinking 225/40 front and 265/35 rear but open to suggestions. Think I need to put a decent premium set on these like Bridgestone Potenza's or similar what do you think.?

Great heels, just the wrong colour. 255/35 on the rear, fronts would be good as is.

I take you don't like black wheels Tony :D

I will run them and see how they go but could possibly get them redone shadow chrome which I think would look good.

Mitchelin Super Sport get a great review but not cheap, mind you mitchelin do a cash back offer in fuel vouchers when you spend a certain amount.

What make are the wheels?

Ha,Ha, no I'm not a fan of black wheels to be honest Ian, and, judging by the wheels we're now selling at work I think the "craze" (for want of a better word) has run it's course. More sets of brighter silver/chrome wheels these days. Shadow chrome is a nice compromise and is one I would consider when I get my 108's done. I really like minimal amount of spokes in a wheel and six is good. Those wheels would look good with black centres and bright rims?

Tony.

Yep they are Rota's. If anyone remembers the V8 Z3M that used to belong to Snatch these used to be on that car. I struck a deal with the guy that now owns it who incidentally is going fully restore it back showroom condition as it is a little rough around the edges now apparently and wasn't as good a conversion as it could be be. It is currently in the paint shop getting a respray.

I had heard that the original engine in the conversion was swapped out prior to the sale of the car and substituted for something a little less pristine.

The original engine blew up so was replaced with a LS3 I think. Nick who owns the car has promised he will restore it to how it should be and judging by the other cars in his stable it will be as he is a self confessed real petrolhead.

If you let me know what you decide on Ian I will happily get you a price through work, it might be worth a run over. No harm in asking?

Tony.

I had the conti contact 3 and 5 sport on the Z3 and run the Conti Contact 5s on the Z4 and they are excellent at grip. Again though not cheap around £110 per rear tyre and £80 for the front per tyre Thats supply only from Black Circle Tyres
