Hi, I am a new member and have just purchased a Z3 with a 1.9 engine. First thoughts are that I agree with reviews about the car, the engine is underpowered. But as I only intend to use the car to potter around country lanes with the hood down, it is sufficient for me and also more economical. I have owned more powerful cars in the past but now are of a age to enjoy sedate motoring.

Welcome Neil :welcome:

It's not the size, it's how you drive it :D. Some pictures would be nice when you get a chance!

Hello from Truro. A 1.9 Z3 will give a Golf GTi a run for it's money any day of the week.

Enjoy your Zed:cool:

Hello from me.
I pondered over what engine for a long time, in the end I went for what looked good to me, because as you said its for driving with the hood down, not on the race track. Pictures please :snaphappy:

Hi Neil, welcome from here near Lincoln. It doesn't really matter what is under the bonnet it's that fact that it's a Z. It's not what you've got it's how you use it that counts. Top down. :)

Tony.
