Hey folks,

Been a Z4 Forum member for a while and been on a few runs with them. Heard good things about this forum so thought I'd join and contribute.

Admired a Z4 since they were new, finally picked up a tatty 2003 2.5i Z4 in August 2021. Done a few thousand happy miles and fixed a bunch of stuff on it, then in August 2024 got a really great offer on a 2006 3.0si Z4 from a forum member and picked that up as well. Haven't yet sold the 2.5i, but its on the cards.

Been on a few Z4 Forum runs (including one in a mk5 Golf GTI as the 2.5i cooling system broke the night before), also frequently head across into North Wales. Other half enjoyed Zed runs so much we did a three day circumnavigation of Wales for our honeymoon a couple of years ago. Great motoring at a good value, such excellent cars.

Also a fantastic community on the forums, facebook groups, runs, in all zed flavours. 🙃

I should add I also really like the look of Z3's, but having had a 1996 328i with cooling system issues I vowed never to own another M52 engine and given a BMW should really have 6 cylinders that somewhat excludes me from most of the Z3 market 😬

Welcome to the forum!

I have just replaced every single coolant/ heating pipe (plastic or rubber) on my m52TUb28, I had heard they were a bit of a weak point so thought it was a good idea!
