Did you not have the plugs to fill the holes in the boot lid?Came with the car so goes with the car.
I stripped all the kit off my car, hardtop, fitting kit, boot rack etc, before it went.
Do you know what that stuff is worth?

Yep got the plugs and they are in the car also. No I don't know what it is worth and I really don't care. I really didn't feel like splitting up the items. I'm not even involved with selling the car I think that would just be to painful. A quick clean break was hard enough without getting involved with haggling. Some may find that an unusual decision but I can live with it. One chapter of the book is now closed and another has opened. As yet I do not know what the content of that chapter will be.Did you not have the plugs to fill the holes in the boot lid?

Does not matter what car you have now, you can still stick around on here,As yet I do not know what the content of that chapter will be.
Good luck for the future, I hope everything turns out good and that life treats you wellYep got the plugs and they are in the car also. No I don't know what it is worth and I really don't care. Thanks, I will do and I hope to still see the Zeds when I continue to visit various events. My wife kindly offers to take me on warm days in her Zed with the roof down so I can still experience soft top motoring.Does not matter what car you have now, you can still stick around on here,
My wife is Cornish and she has just told me that I will have to drive her down west of the Tamar so she can see relatives and I can get to know the new car. Since I was born in Devon and after 50 years of marriage have finally been accepted by some of her family, that is a challenge I cannot refuse.Good luck for the future, I hope everything turns out good and that life treats you well
I'm not sure how many older ones in the world are still running. I am pretty sure it is the oldest in this country and as Barney said today to get a car which has been owned for 18 years, with every document in place, mechanically A1 and with the original bodywork, including all the blemishes acquired over its lifetime on view for all to see, is very rare. I have asked him not to do any cosmetic work but list what could be done, and then let the new owner decide what they want to do and when they want it done. That to me is part of the pleasure in owning a classic car( my definition).I fully understand your decision to sell via a third party. If I had the cash and a place to store it, I'd be bashing down Barney's door.
Unless there is an older one around, I think P411 XGK will be as famous in the M Roadster world as 77 RW is in the E-Type world and AOK 621 in the Mini world.
Both my wife and I are from the Black Country, Jill is from Wolverhampton and my hometown is Brierley Hill, near Dudley. We moved to Cornwall with my job in 1995. There is a fierce rivalry between the Cornish and Devonians so I well understand your comment. We have lived in our current house since 1997 in a rural village and have always tried to involve ourselves in local events, but we'll never be totally accepted by everyone. Sad really, but that's the way some people areMy wife is Cornish and she has just told me that I will have to drive her down west of the Tamar so she can see relatives and I can get to know the new car. Wow I forgot I wrote that almost 7 years ago. How time flies. I still have the F11 touring but my opinion of it has hardly changed. In fact it is nicknamed "The Hearse."Hope you do not mind @Tilly. little bit of history ....
It was quite an interesting story as to how we came to buy both of the Zeds. We lived in Switzerland for many years and when we returned to the UK we bought our two cars back. A 325 Carbrio and a 525 Touring which we had owned from new. Both where left hand drives. One day I took my old Cabrio in for a service and while waiting saw an E34 M touring that was for sale. I had always fancied an M car and that seemed a good solution. Barney Halse of Munich Legends had a different opinion. He felt that my old touring was perfectly adequate and why replace it with just a faster version. If I wanted fun what I should have was a ZM and he had one which had only just come into the country. So the 325 went, Blackie got a new home. Barnie was right and the rest they say is history. My wife always wanted a Z3 since she saw the first one in Switzerland but because of the family we needed a four seater. However, when the M arrived and since the family had flown the nest she let it be known that if Barney saw a Z3 then he should tell her. Surprise, surprise a very low mileage 1.9 auto suddenly appeared. I had been totally out maneuvered. We now had a his and hers
But Hey Ho they were good decisions which have been further reinforced since I finally swapped the old touring for a new one. I am sorry to say that even after a year I still prefer the older estate to the new one. Don't get me started on that since I will really turn into a grumpy old git.

My wife was the first to move out of Cornwall in 400 years. In fact we were married in the same church as one of her relatives in the early 1600's. After 10 years of marriage one of her aunties told my wife they expected her to marry a Cornishman but I suppose the foreigner hasn't turned out too badly, and I was born in Plymouth!!!!Both my wife and I are from the Black Country, Jill is from Wolverhampton and my hometown is Brierley Hill, near Dudley. No @Tllly Mike isn't CIA, but they probably have him under scrutinyAt least you are not CIA.
LHD could be a problem but I have been driving it in UK for almost 20 years and sometimes it is a advantage. Also all the E30 M3s are LHD and I believe the Z8. Still I cannot change where the wheel is located and unfortunately I do not have any contacts in Europe where prices are higher. As to the Porsche. It is an unusual colour but after 6 months driving( almost 5000 miles) although it does everything highly efficiently it does not excite me as much as the M. Maybe it is my age!perhaps LHD is the stumbling block
stunning colour on the Porsche BTW! My neighbour has one but in black, what a machine!
