Any particular one?

Tony.
Not this one.... This one is a Blue Faced Chip Eater, I identical to a Blue Faced Honey Eater. There is another identical to these called the Sh#* Headed Honey Eater, named so because it will wake you up at 5 in the morning with its raucous antics. =))

Too far inland for crocadilligators..
That being said, we did see this one not too far from there, This is a freshwater croc, allegedly quite benign compared to its saltwater counterpart... Yeah Right !, It didn't evolve those teeth for cucumber sandwiches and chocolate digestives... No thanks...

Here's more wildlife in my garden. Actually these pics are from a couple years ago. I keep looking but I've never seen another of these.

Wing span is around 4 inches. What a beauty.

Looking like some kind of stealth plane.

Camera is the HTC M9 mobilephone
I believe what you have there is an Eyed Hawk Moth, with wings stowed so you cannot see the blue eyes on the wings.. Nice shot... :)

It's a stick insect, although I'm not sure if it's related to the Mantis. We were told that it's rare to see them this size in the UK

INTRUDER.jpg

The first time we saw it was in our shed and I put my tape measure near him to see how long he was. He reappeared sometime later when we we trimming a hedge and he scarpered down the wall.
