Thank you, I was going to fit it next weekend but whilst its out I may as well remove the dash and paint that too, still not sure wether to paint the middle or the 2 outer parts.
If I were you, I would (and have done previously) paint the outer parts and keep the middle black, so there is some continuation in colour from the centre console (which looks great, I might add!)

Of course, was never doubting your ability @Sean d

But watch out for the vinyl covered parts (The outer parts of the dash are plastic, but are covered in a very thin layer of leather effect type vinyl). Ask @bertiejaffa about this stuff - it's his best friend! :p

That looks great but then again i am a fan of the Piano Black. We have it in the Z4 and bits in the Kuga

The hockey sticks are the same, I think, I gave them a light coat of plastic primer before painting them, I have finished them with FC satin

Good work ! I like the concept and the choice of finish. Very difficult to achieve the perfect finish, but once done it's a superb surface in both look and feel.

Thats the centre console finished, I was undecided what to to the top of the back half in, could have been blue, piano black but I went for plain old matt black to add contrast, I also did the ashtray in piano black, I'm really pleased with it and desperate to fit it but the dash needs to come out for painting.
