@DaveP Can you mention this as well, please?Make sure it gets a couple of coats or ReFace 2k primer/filler, very important on a GRP car. It is ideal for GRP as it helps stop any shrinkage, especially where GRP and filler meet.
It can be applied with a small gloss roller, the idea is to get it on nice and thickly and then flat it back.
This will take me a bit of time, as I didn't go straight from the plugs. I cut the wires at the plugs and treated the wire as a wire, rather than a location on the plug.Must be ready by now, it was leaving home at the beginning of June, nearly 7 months ago!
With your wiring diagrams posted previously, do you have any details on where the wires from the Z3 attach to the ETB instruments?
What would be useful would be something like.........
blue plug...red/green wire to...........FTB.......instrument........colour
white plug...red/blue wire to...........ETB.......instrument........colour
Nor do they .But you haven't answered the all-important question!!!
With hindsight, I would rather have soldered wires on to the wires at the connectors (much like Scotchloks), rather than cut them. This would have allowed a spare Z3 console to be plugged into the connectors. It would allow you to check mileage, service interval and also to help with any ETB instrument problems.Good man!
Would make a great sticky for future builders, by taking the wires from the plugs or cutting them at the plugs would make it much easier for builders to follow. Hunting down the wires at different locations is a task in itself.

Daimler Dart kit would be funI just wish someone did a Daimler SP250 kit, the Daimler Dart, I'd be buying a 3.0 or M like a shot to convert. It's been my most wanted car since they first came out (shows how old I am). Reasonable ones are in the £40k+ range now and really good ones over £50K. OK I'm not a big fan of one car pretending to be something else, but the Daimler really is beautiful so I wouldn't mind being a bit hypocritical
Don't give away any secretsHad a good look round your Kit car @Pingu she's really coming along.
