All down to Lee and the guys at the Zed Shed. Credit where it's due. That is some makeover, will be one of the best Z3's going.
@PHILIP BAXTER Its going to be a corker mate the boys have put some serious work into herThank you to all involved, in what looked a tough day at the office. The old girl is beginning to look young again .
The wait is bloody killing me though . I can't wait to drive her again. Thanks to the Zed Shed it will be like driving a new car.
Thank you again @Lee & co.
Those tyres were brand new before that test drive / flight. I thought I could smell burning rubber.Cracking job fellas Phillip will be well chuffed with that BTW was there any rubber left on the rears following the test drive
Well done, that's another Zed done. You should have stickers made 'I've been to the Zed shed'So tonight I did the final touches. Fitted the DAB stereo and changed the fuel filter. Then a final drive on my own to make sure shes ready to go out into the wild again.
I'll start with the fuel filter: The 3.0 has a different filter to all the other zeds. It has a fuel regulator on the top. As a rule of thumb you change the filters every 15,000 miles, this one however has been on since the factory Also these filters have two lines in compared to the single line in on the others.
Old one with the date of when it was produced.
