Life before.......was calm and sedate......the mechanical love of daves (grumpys) life was a simple mower; neither was she fast, asthetically pleasing or reliable.
To be fair, it kept him occupied for many a hour; trundling round the paddocks or trying to mend it.
As much as i appreciated daves help with the horses, it seemed only fair to set him free from the horsey women, who are nothing like the beautiful jilly cooper characters who go commando, in skin tight breeches and long boots with a whip gently tapping at their side: most real life ones are scary - very scary.
SO....A NEW HOBBY WAS REQUIRED AND CAR SHOPPING WE WENT.
I never thought in a million years i would lose my husband to another man but as soon as we pulled up outside that house in chelmsford, i knew i'd lost him forever! The reggie love affair was born and he came home that same day

For a while things were still calm and sedate; roof down reggie outings were a glory of heightened rural smells (!), pub lunches and feeling a little smug for owning such a beautiful car.
Then something happened. In derbyshire. We met bill and mozz and joined the cruise.
WHOOP WHOOP LICENSE LOOSING MAYHEM FUN COMMENCED!
Now I'm not a religious person but I had gods batfone on speedial several times that day. Ive tried to upload a video I took of us driving through the tunnel at whetton mill (it wont load for some reason) - some of you on here will know where I am mean and know what amazing fun it was.
bit of a pointless newbie post but i know how much these cars mean to you all - and I do get it, i do.
This one very happy husband. Piccy taken at silverstone on staceys and roys birthday cruise. It is in the top ten of his best days ever!
chocolate cake and beer for all who got this far. Take care all....jue x
FYI: dave says I'm not allowed to make him look a t*** (not sure of the swearing policy on here but they're his words not mine). So if i have, i apologise to grumpy now.
