That's what I mean I was assuming you were running cable with the 2.8. Are you not a fan of drive by wire?

Not a fan personally. Like the feel of a cable also no delay.

Some companies are a joke, they will try anything to get out of paying out or recovering. Usually find it with warranties when they say everything is covered but then they come back with it's wear and tear. Keep at them I'm sure you will get something back out of them. Look forward to the new engine going in

I'm a mechanical and engineering genius, as you can see @Lee
I’m no expert either mate. Just like playing :)

You lot are such a bad influence. I’ve got a little one due in a months time so it’s becoming tough to seek financial sign off =))

I’m pretty certain the words ‘reduced, bargain, just a few quid’ do not go in the same sentence as ‘///M’, ever :bag::arghh:

The 3.0 is flybywire standard. I'm going to see if I can run it with a larger throttle body and cable.
Are you going to keep the lower ratio diff on with the 3.0? Should be pretty lively...

The 3.0 was especially happy to hit the limiter in my 330, can this be remapped for a higher limit too? It certainly felt comfortable at Max revs for extended periods on autobahn driving (the 5sp e46 330i ran out of revs around 155mph...)
