Can't come soon enough for me 😭
My old and new(er) Reggie and Ronnie. I appreciate some are happy to use their cars all year, personally I don't enjoy it through the winter months but throughly enjoy a roof down warm drive out. It can't be beaten!

Have to agree Alex apart from the mess the car gets into.
The Highlands in winter roof down can be spectacular.
We have a couple of nights booked next month at Falls of Lora hotel near Oban and as long as roads ain't snow covered or likely to become so i will be taking the Zed
Stephen.

Honestly, definitely suffer seasonal depression. Dark by 4, little to do, too cold to be outdoors where I spend my life in good weather.

Seriously considering abroad for 2 months renting something just to get away.

Hey ho, keep positive ladies and Gents, we had a great March in 2025 if I recall

I too really struggle with winter, hate short cold wet days and long dark afternoons/nights. I desperately want to live abroad amongst a sunnier warmer climate. I thought I could get my EU passport through family heritage but after speaking to a Polish solicitor recently I can't so that has made it a lot more difficult for us but not impossible.

I got my EU PP last year '2025'

Had to really as due to family lineage, if I didn't it ends the family abilities, as in my kids lose the rights in Ireland.

Plus handy to have.

My mate rents a house on Lake Garda for a month in January, not too costly and weather's better mostly.

My Grandmother was Polish but the solicitor told me because my father never got his it cut it off. Gutted is an understatement 😫.
Sounds lovely, we are taking the Zed to Italy in June when there will be 🌞!!

Similar thing happened to me as my grandmother is Irish...and my father kept telling me about getting his Irish passport.

But when I went to apply, my father admitted he'd never completed the Foreign Births Registration, so I couldn't even start mine.

Same, couldn't believe it when they told me, I thought it was a given and had big plans for the future based on it. 😭

Where are you going Dave, I am going to Italy in June. Lake Guarda and then on to Tuscany for a few days.
Nice Mike. Frech Riviera then across to Portofino, then across the Apls to Anncey.
