Hopefully I will be ordering an upgraded steering wheel but just wanted to ask what those of you that already have one went for, option wise like double thickness, extra padding, perforated leather, alcantara, plain leather etc..
I do have dust pan hands so was thinking extra padding but not sure what to go for material wise.
Thanks in advance for any advice :).

I went for extra padding /thickness perforated leather to the sides and plain black nappa top and bottom with ///M stitching .
Ever so soft to the touch it looks smaller when padded obviously isn't but when you remove its thinness it looks a totally different wheel.

The blue in the stiches is a nice highlight against atlanta blue paint the other two colours just blend.

Thanks Ant, the extra padding looks quite noticeable when you compare it to Hugh's.
It looks well tbh, this is all helping me decide what to go for

I like this thread Bozzy as I've already got my spare steering wheel but as it's better than the one on my car i need to swop them first.

The extra padding is well worth it the leather he uses is about 4mm i when the wheel comes back bare you can see how thick it is.
Its a must if your having it done

I'm guessing it depends on what you want but I think it's about £135

They are £125 inc vat plus 9.99 post and packaging
£100 on top as deposit if you are having one of their wheels sent and then sending yours back when you have swapped them over.

Jack quoted me £120 with double padding,£130 with extra padding if i remember right. The coloured stitching doesn't cost any extra though. £100 deposit for the exchange service which is refunded when he gets yours in return.
He did say it would be a couple of weeks turn around as he's quite busy.

Mine was: extra padding, perforated leather on the sides, smooth on the top and cream on the bottom with M tri-colour stitching as per the original.
