That's not so bad 9 days or so.
Is there much involved in removing/refitting the steering wheel Ant ?.

No not really you disc the negative lead on the battery and wait 5 mins.
Two torx screws behind the wheel release the air bag .
One airbag connector and one horn wire to disconnect to remove the bag.
There are then 5 small torx and the main bolt to undo.
I marked up the position as there is a mark on the wheel so just marked the column i found it easier to disconnect the slip ring from the wheel and refit in situe or you have to take all the cowling off to disconnect further wires, but its not awkward.
You just reconnect what you have just disconnected in reverse.
15 to 20 mins tops .

We need to treat ourselves sometimes Steve. I had a good feel of Hugh's @miller1098 =))=))=)) during our ride round the Welsh mountains, he kept saying how much better it made the ride and I had to check it out, no, I tell a lie, it was Sarah's as they were in the 2.8 not the M =))=))

My steering wheel is beige and I quite like the look of it as it matches the interior. Has anyone had a beige one made ?

I thought about it but didn't want to add another shade of beige in to the interior.
I imagine its possible though if he does black blue red and cream to name the ones i've seen i imagine its only a phone call ?

My interia is beige but the steering wheel is black and found it so hard and uncomfortable on long journeys, whent to see Jack ( Royal steering wheels) and he suggested double padding, been a delight to hold ever since, probably the next best mod since the wheels. Notice the beige stitching.

I pretty much imagine jack can do what ever you like as long as you can show him how you want it.
