Yeah two at the back and you'll have another 4 to swap over your slip ring and a white plastic clip.
Thanks Ant,how long should I leave the battery disconnected before unplugging the air bag wires ?

There's just two screws at the rear of the wheel retaining the air bag assembly if I remember right @NODZED ?

Steve
Disconnect the battery (good advice from @Mint ), remove the lower steering column cover 1 x posy screw, and un-clip to separate the wiring connector, 2x torx screws on the rear of the wheel holding the air bag on and I think a 17mm socket for the wheel nut .... place the air bag metal side down just in case it goes off, wont fly into the air then o_O

By the time you have disconnected it and got round to undoing the airbag from behind its long enough.its just a yellow push in plug just like a seatbelt pretentioner.

Yeah I had to do that as the connectors were different, easy enough though.

Column nut should be 16mm I think. But you have your shiny new socket set anyway don't you Steve.

I sent a spare one I got off Spurs fan as I wanted to keep my original, but the connectors were different so I had to swap them, but all you will have to do is remove the 4 small torx and swap your ring gear off your wheel onto the referbed one, its easy as mate takes 5 minutes.

b***** does this mean weve got to change yours again
In time mate but not just now as I haven't got round to ordering the dye for the plastics either side of the airbag.
Plus I need to get the seats out so wouldn't want to damage my wheel
