Just to add our thanks to Stephen & Lynne for organising yet another superb weekend. We had a great time catching up with old friends and making new ones too. Communication channels we obviously opened with the weather gods as we were roofs down all the time. We stayed an extra day to meet up with friends on Monday so I was chasing following a BoxsterS in the pouring rain as the good weather finished on Monday morning.
Great roads, great company and great weather, what's not to like:thumbsup:

can't believe you were fortunate enough to bump in to the Postman Pat forum members outing as well
We followed them for a while, total PITA, they kept stopping every 20 yards :whistle:

Friday zed all washed and waxed ready to go couple of obligatory pictures on the coast road on way into Ayr to pick up Lynne

After Carsphairn the lunch stop will be somewhere those who have been on one of the last 2 spring runs will recognise The Friars Carse.

Then after lunch it was through the Durisdeer pass and Mennock pass to hopefully see the heather looking decent attracted the attention of some of the locals

Stop at bells memorial for a couple of pictures mountains in the background includes the Merrick the highest peak in the southern uplands the memorial has a tapography of the area.

The Autumn Scottish Run in a few weeks followed by the Lakes and dales in October.

Can't believe how small that E89 looks next to the Citroƫn - heather back drop photo's look stunning :thumbsup:
