Not sure why the link looks the same as Day 1 only difference is Dave uploaded Day 1 to this thread and I moved it to post #2 whereas Day 2 I copied from a pm thread to here I will get Chris or Vicky to upload it again on this thread see if that's the problem.

Day 2 Satnav file, as before I have tried to follow the written route as accurately as possible it looks spot on to me.

I've just signed up to the My Route app and on checking day 1 note a couple of corrections required -

On leaving Aviemore, we stick on the B9152 to Newtonmore, we do not go onto the A9.

On leaving the A9 at House of Bruar, we go back to Pitlochry on the B8079, not the A9.

Just so the sat navs can be changed and everyone doesn't think i'm lost on the day, although there could be a very good chance of that anyway.

Hi Guys, I have downloaded the routes from the start of the thread today (Monday 17th)... I assume they are now the updated ones?

Looking forward to seeing you all on the Friday - I am assuming you will be out having something to eat when we get there so I will send over my mobile details to catch you up.

Hotel includes dinner, so we should be there.

Anyone who is keen may have noticed that the Cairngorm fenicular web site has a big warning that it is currently out of order. I called on friday as i also noticed that they now do a group booking and spoke to a nice lady who confirmed that we qualify for a group and the rate would be £10.10 instead of £13.95pp and booked us in for 2pm. (Coach party at 1.30)
They are having technical problems, so confirmed that they will call me on saturday morning to confirm if it will be operational or not.

Weather & Technical problems permitting, we will still target this as our lunch stop.

Hi everyone,

The hotel has just called to confirm a few things - I tried to get us upgraded to the refurbished more expensive rooms, but unfortunately they are all booked for the weekend now - worth a try.

Dinner is booked for 7.30pm each night - as advised we have a set menu with a starter, main & sweet one of each from a choice of three and also a special. If anyone is struggling then they can opt for the main menu at a reduced additional charge!
Any special requirements can be catered for - please advise on check-in.

Breakfast is booked for 8.15 on Sat & Sun and as you choose on Monday.

They are going to try & cordon off the front of the hotel parking for us, but not guaranteed.

As previous - there is a small pool and hot tub, so nothing better after a day in the Z - forgot to ask about towels, so maybe stick one in the case anyway.
