Thinking of doing some upgrades, or should I leave it as it is. What should I or could I do?:)

Induction kit- do they make much difference. Nicer wheels. Lowered. That sort of stuff.
I'm torn really, want to improve it but also it looks good untouched.:nailbiting:

it looks fantastic as is and its up to you what you want to do, for me its simple, i change things to what i think looks good to me and personalise it to my taste and ideas, its an endless money pit but i like getting stuck in with new part and new looks. As i say, really your decision at the end of the day, maybe start with something simple like wheel valve caps :) get them, fit them and you might get the bug ;-)

Bang on as usual Dave. It's all up to the individual owner, it's your car, do what you want to do. If someone comes along and says" that is awesome" all the better, if not, what the hell. That's a great looking car as is, but........................................;)

It's a slippery slope Tec once you start... Be prepared to see every spare penny disappearing into the mod pot!

Seriously your car is pretty sweet looking already :)

Thanks Dave. Why mess with perfection=)) . It's all original at the moment, 17 year old paint, original wheels no kerbing. Maybe keep it subtle and respect the originality.:beer

yes ZTec, you will have to change the plastics, and scour your scrap yards etc for the right colour etc but if you have time and patience you will get the right one for the right price ;-)
i done it with mine and picked up the lot for 150 euro ;-) lovely upgrade and easy enough to do if you are any way mechanically minded

Having looked at a few pics, am I right in saying it's only the centre compartment I have to change from the long one to the three piece one?

no man its all the back plastics as the centre unit is smaller so the side plastics are different, dont let anything like that put you off though, its easy enough job, just get all the parts together and take your time ;-)
I'll start looking out for the parts then:thumbsup: thanks
