Thinking of doing some upgrades, or should I leave it as it is. What should I or could I do?
Thanks Tony.Bang on as usual Dave. It's all up to the individual owner, it's your car, do what you want to do. If someone comes along and says" that is awesome" all the better, if not, what the hell. That's a great looking car as is, but........................................
Tony.
Thanks Gaz, the comments I'm getting are really heartwarming, maybe less is more. It's a slippery slope Tec once you start... Be prepared to see every spare penny disappearing into the mod pot!
Seriously your car is pretty sweet looking already
I had thought of that, but don't I have to change the plastics at the back?if anything i would give her a set of factory roll hoops ;-) that would look fantasticer
Try Andy, Spurs Fan in a Coupe, he's the man.a set of factory roll hoops
Try getting that one past the missus.Car looks great,I always think wheels add a little of your own personality.keep the old ones and you still have them to revert to original if you want http://www.rimstyle.com/alloywheels/selection/?car_model_id=224&year=1999
Having looked at a few pics, am I right in saying it's only the centre compartment I have to change from the long one to the three piece one?yes ZTec, you will have to change the plastics, and scour your scrap yards etc for the right colour etc but if you have time and patience you will get the right one for the right price ;-)
i done it with mine and picked up the lot for 150 euro ;-) lovely upgrade and easy enough to do if you are any way mechanically minded
"Need new tyres anyway, and these were a real bargain, how do you like your flowers?"What have you got to lose?say it quickly while she's looking through the NEXT catalogueTry getting that one past the missus.

I'll start looking out for the parts then thanksno man its all the back plastics as the centre unit is smaller so the side plastics are different, dont let anything like that put you off though, its easy enough job, just get all the parts together and take your time ;-)
