Already seen that Tony will be sunning himself in Florida (jammy bugger) but any other of you guys making it to East Midlands on Sunday for this one? https://zroadster.org/threads/vc-10-beer-and-burger-sunday-7th-september.5371/
Hi Colin, good to see you again, really enjoyed the aircraft. Yes, will be doing a BBQ, don't know if we've left it a bit late this year. However, next year will be a definite date. Once arranged will let you know and put it out on Zroadster, especially those who came to the Trent Port meet. It was a bit of a drag back with the M1 being so slow and so busy. The day was worth it tho' and we'll try and arrange a seaside meeting or maybe a castle with a hostelry close by. Only fair to centralise it if we can! Mind you with your comfy seats a long ride won't bother you much! ...... Regards ..... Pete (eddie1)Cheers Eddie1 (Pete),
Your wife was telling mine that you're arranging a BBQ meet (or should that be meat!!) at yours too.
I hope you knew about that and she's not arranging it behind your back??
Let us know when and I'll grab some burgers and buns (breadcakes as I'm a true Yorkie) on the way over.
See you all soon,
Colin.
Hey Pete, glad you all had a great day and very lucky with the weather too. The other Pete looked right at home behind the"bar" I thought. Meanwhile we are having to cope with this.Hi Colin, good to see you again, really enjoyed the aircraft. Yes, will be doing a BBQ, don't know if we've left it a bit late this year. Hello Colin, from the other side of the Pond. Don't know where you live but it seems you've already met up with a few of the boys. Glad to have you with us. As you probably have already noticed, a very friendly group here. Plenty of good advice here as long as you ignore what they say about me and the sheep. Was over in the UK the first week of June to meet several of the boys. Had a great time and they all treated me very well. Like a family. FrankieHi All,
I'm new to this forum and to Zed ownership, delighted to meet everyone. It looks (from what I've seen) like everyone on here is as passionate about their Zed's as I am.
I'm unable to find so far if there is a South Yorkshire group on here, one that has regular meets, can anyone help?
Cheers,
Colin.
Very much like the place we stayed in at New port Richey. De rigueur pool, but also a creek at the bottom of the garden for fishing and swimming.View attachment 8544

Thanks Frankie, I've been around the forums for a couple of months now, since I realised they existed. Great bunch and met up with a few of the UK based Zed owners at three meets so far. I'm over your side of the pond in a couple of weeks in Chicago though.Hello Colin, from the other side of the Pond.
