OK mate, could have met for a run down together.

God I hope not mate,
not looking forwards to 91/2 hrs. with 2 small grandsons to be totally honest, but it'll be great once we're there, then me and Shirl have 9 nights after they come home. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Well I asked again for next Saturday night off work 
And I can't have it as one of the other staff members are on holiday
Just hoping I don't finish work too late
As if I do we won't be able to make Rutland
As I'm getting to old to survive on no sleep
It's about 3 1/2 hour trip for us so we will have to wait to see what time I finish work

It would be great if I finished work at 9.30
But it's normally about 11 then by the time I get home and to bed time its getting on
Then I'd have to be up about 5.30 ............

@Shelly - don't beat yourself up if you can't make it. Nothing worse that not getting enough sleep and then trying to enjoy yourself. We'll be around for a few hours anyway. No need to arrive early if that doesn't suit. We're there to enjoy it not endure it, even if it for only half an hourIt would be great if I finished work at 9.30

Where is the meeting point or is there just one car park? I've been past Rutland Water many years ago,but not sure where to park.
