I was under impression that if you were on "Prime" anything you ordered was delivered free

Only if it's from a Prime seller. Not all sellers on Amazon are Prime, and those sellers likely charge for delivery.

No idea mate, I was under impression that if you were on "Prime" anything you ordered was delivered free. I maybe got hold of the wrong end of the stick.

I am on prime and surely no, only certain items, which got "prime" flag on them are free&fast delivery. I also found that prime items almost always little bit more expensive that their non-prime equivalents (especially for under £10-15 items). Though next day delivery generally worth it.
