Right decided to come .sleneken booked.
Hotel astoria booked wer staying tues night and leaving friday morn .joining the run that Hughs mentioned furka etc and one day i fancy going down the road from the astoria to zermatt heard thers a bit of a mountain there ha ha and prob have a look at the Simplon pass as ive not done that one
Oh and can you put us down for the track again please.

That sounds right up my street .Sarah and I almost did simplon last year twice once from the Swiss Sid and once from th Italian side ,could be third time lucky

OK You scruffy bunch.... Just about had it dealing with the German Track... Long story... we are not going to visit them on a chance of getting on the track...

So I bring in my reserve list...

We are doing SPA on the MONDAY.... yes.. SPA.... again... calm down @Nodzed

So Looking at the following..
Saturday travelling over to Sleneken.
With the Dutch group on the Sunday
Monday.. we go to SPA for a lovely tour and on track 12.15 after another group. I need numbers as I will be booking this asap. AT present we have 15 spaces on track
We can then travel towards the Swiss Alps.

Tuesday / Wednesday we can have fun in Switzerland
Thursday we can have a drive part way back towards Calais.
Friday we return to the Tunnel and home to the UK.

Are we happy ??? If not.... I am resigning...

I can honestly say.. dealing with people who are not being totally open about things is a bloody pain..... At least SPA is a friendly track too.

Paul I'm already booked out on the train on the Saturday at 10.36 (I think @mid life crisis is too) so if the rest of you get an earlier one, please wait for us and vice versa?

Just a thought i know mulhouse has been mentioned as a stop off down to switzerland .but in the past me n Billz have gone to epinal 200 mls easy 3-4 hours.then next day from there we go through the ballon (stop for coffee n pie) its tradition .then on down to the Astoria .taking in the furka and grimsell passes.arriving by 5pm ish for a well earned beer ont terrace

You haven't been on the panorama on top of Grimsel and it takes an hour it would be amazing to do that in convoy as it's only one way spectacular.

Is I understand the plan now on Monday the track,then head towards Switzerland ,Epinal ? Tuesday Grand baloon then on towards hotel Astoria taking in Grimsel pass taking in the panorama.wedsnesday the "trio" Furka,Gottard and Nufen ,sounds like heaven

If you're impressed by the pics Philip be prepared to get your socks blown off by the real thing. Even panoramic pics can't take it all in. You have to let your eyes absorb it all, there's a new picture at every turn!! Go forth and enjoy, you'll start planning the next trip while still on this one!! JIM
