I have widebody pre-facelift with stock suspension.
With perfect fit wheels front: 17x8J ET33 (I believe et34 and et35 would be fine too.)
Not sure about rear, I think it's 17x10J ET33, but you have more room to play with because the different form of the wheel arch...

Think theres many varibles here my last Z had a set of 18x8.5j wheel with an offset of 38 the front fit was fine but saying that i ran coilovers and as the body of a coilover sits alot lower than stock, off set can vary on set up . It did clear without spacers at the front but the tolerance was mm.
The rear if i remember was spaced hubcentrically possibly 10 or 20 mm to get the arch filled so as withalot of bmw's a staggered set up is required for a stock fit

Hi. On your original post of this, you had a black & white photo of a Z3 with some very cool looking wheels. Do you have any details of what the wheels are? I can't seem to find them in the BMW list of wheel styles.
