Included a before and after picture of the 300mm brake 'upgrade' below as fitted by @Stevo7682.
Before fitting I had been on a few threads looking for the right carrier. It needs to be the 505 cast marked carrier as seen in @IainP photo. There are rumours that other numbered carriers are out there but would be safe and go 505 if you do decided to upgrade 300mm
On a few forums, it was suggested that the upgrade would increase breaking force a little bit and I would say from running the set up, any increase was marginalif at all noticeable.
From some rudimentary calculations, that were probably wrong, I worked out that the 300mm upgrade would move the front brake bias around 5% to the front. Not wild.
I did it for the aesthetic and not for the performance. The difference is marginal here too but if you are running 18s you might want to 'aesthetically' fill out the wheel centre a bit with the 300mm disc. 286mm vented are still a worthy upgrade.
Plus you'll get to paint up your new calipers in a bold colour...
