I've sorted lack of USB changing points by embedding two usb ports to ashtray assembly.

That's about the only good solution in a Z4. Well done. Can't see in the photo. Did you put it in the removable ashtray bit?
A couple of hidden USBs for other stuff too - dash etc.
Add in a lightening connector and some ribs to support an iPhone as well with switched power I'd be very happy
The lack of availability a decent looking and good fitting radio face plate is stopping me from changing the radio out though. So, with BT streaming I'd need a 3.5mm audio jack too. It's never end
Look between to ashtray lid and buttons block - there is charge point on the left and on the right. As I've repainted ashtray assembly I've also cut holes in it and glued usb connectors into it. Then painted. There is cable inserted into the right one.Can't see in the photo.

Cable kits available on eBay and usually around the £12 range.

I actually have a cable to connect external devices (mp3 players, ipods, phones, etc...) to business CD. can donate to anyone who will pay for postage or it avail for collection in Solihull, CV7 area. I only need to find it in my garage.
