He’ll be very welcome to join us. Although as nice as the E36 is, your friend would need to display it on one of the non-model specific stands. I’ve got some good friends putting their cars on the Hampshire BMW Owners club stand (despite living up in Derbyshire near me). Fingers crossed for the Z3 though.
Oh dont worry if i have anything to do with it he will have a Z3 ;)

It's that time of year again folks! Time to start thinking about VanityBMW 2019! This event is awesome and a firm favourite in the calendar for many, myself included.

Im stepping up as point of contact this year to relieve a bit of the burden from @GazHyde.

The date is confirmed as Sunday 21st July 2019 and once again it is being held at Beaulieu Motor Museum in the New Forest. Tickets are now on sale priced at £12 per adult and £8 per child. Tickets need to be purchased directly from the Beaulieu website: https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/vanity/
Stand passes will be distributed by myself.

Again I will be organising the now annual pre VanityBMW BBQ and camping for you adventurous souls! A separate thread ( https://zroadster.org/threads/pre-vanitybmw-bbq-and-camping-20-21-july-2019.25996/ ) will be run but this has become as much a part of the experience for some of us as the main event and really makes a weekend of it.

VanityBMW is a static family friendly show that attracts BMWs from all over the country.

Entry in to the show also grants access to all the on site attractions including the Motor Museum, Top Gear exhibition, the monorail and the palace house gardens.

As with previous years I'll speak to Staff at The Bold Forester (It was the very helpful Tamzin last year) and get us permission to use their car park as a meeting point ready to move on to Beaulieu together.

As a club we can access Beaulieu from 0900hrs but getting in has been a slow process in previous years so if we aim for before 0900hrs we will give ourselves time to organise.

I propose we meet at The Bold Forester car park at about 0815hrs to leave for 0845hrs allowing us to arrive a shade early.

Address: The Bold Forester, Beaulieu Road, Marchwood, SO45 4UQ.

We're not far away now folks. I may not be checking the forum during the weekend of the event as signal isn't great in the New Forest and I'm intending to be enjoying myself in person rather than online:thumbsup:

For that reason I'll happily share a contact telephone number via PM with anyone who would feel more comfortable having a means to contact me in case of any issues or delays. If that's the case drop me a message and I'll reply with a phone number I can be contacted on.

Of course. You're very welcome to join us. I've added you to the list of attendees. Just keep tabs on this thread for any unforeseen changes but other than that everything you should need is on the first post. Any questions just aim them at me and I'll see you right.

I extended an invitation to this event to Joel who has a YouTube channel called ItsJoel (loads of Z4 content and a great channel if you've not already found it).

He has accepted the invitation and intends to join us on the stand so we are likely to be the subject of one of his videos in the future which is exciting.

A few last-minute jobs to sort before Vanity: tinted fog lights, brake calipers painted, new pad clips fitted, and a good detailing session. Who else has a list of things to do before the 21st??

I’ve had some mechanical work done over winter and the mechanic had to lean into the engine bay...so now I need to machine polish the front wings and bumper to get the swirls out:banghead:
