Could you give me a bit more information, like where to buy?
Bought on Etsy...vid below of some guy in the US fitting them.
Its a fix not a repair. You can of course buy new guides but the plastic is sewn into the leather...and there is nothing stopping it happening again

Got a bit tired of the Pioneer head unit so treated the Zed to a retro look, more in keeping with her age

These Blaupunkts look great in a Zed ..I have the Valencia although can’t really see how it differs from the Nurnburg..except my buttons have red text View attachment 251341
Agree, I chose the Nurnberg so the white text matched [ish] the brushed aluminium console.
The spec list on the website ran to far more entries than the Valencia, but yes it seems to do much the same.
Oh, and it was cheaper;)

My split rims need refurbishing so I've bought a set of style 68 staggered rims to replace them. Look like new with four nearly new tyres.
Now to decide what to do with the split rims. I think I will try to split them myself and get them refurbished. Then decide what to do with them. I love them but they are a pig to clean.

i have the same and they have some minor blemishes on the clearcoat.
asked about refurbishing and got an absurd quote. Bbs stopped producing the “bolts” and 1-they will have to use the same 2-order replacements from a guy in Germany. Then dismantle, blast, powder coat, polish the rim, clearcoat and assemble from what he said will require two full days that will rip € 600 out of my wallet. Pretty tempted to keep them in the garage and get these babies:

If you're going to split them yourself (as I did my 108s) mount them back on the car, 1 at a time, and use something like this to loosen the screws.

I did a few each lunchtime in the car park at work. Loosened then nipped them back up. Tap the socket into each bolt, the ratchet is 15" long. You may snap some, or round them out. I only broke 1.

The local guy says that you have to use a gas torch and heat the rim so the loctite loosens and then you can easily remove them. One screw at a time.

No you don’t. Mine had never been removed from new. They’re just scared of breaking a bolt. Once the rim was split I did heat the broken bolt and it came out using some 4” Visegrips.
I had forgotten that one bolt did round out but we drilled the top off it using a Titanium drill bit and removed the remaining bit in the same way.
Using a lever of such length makes turning them much easier.

Tony.

Love the style 32’s. That’s only two, or possibly three of your wife’s vacuum cleaner’s worth there.

True, the bolts come off without any heat. I would recommend to use quality tools, otherwise the same could happen to you and ruin a bolt:

Hazet did the trick in the end.

What's the german shop for the bolts @Zephyr ?

he told me he buys from this guy.

Thanks everyone, I will first have to get them back home from my dad's house where I swapped them over. I will have a go and see how I get on. First I need to order a decent tool to remove them. I'm in no hurry but it would be nice to see them in mint condition. But I do love the style 68s I've put on. They cost £500 with 4 virtually new tyres and have been refurbished. Less than the cost of a refurb of my spit rims. If I can split them I can get them done for half the price. The only downside with my new wheels is I can see how rubbish my brake calipers look, maybe another job for the future.

12 hour, 500 mile round trip Truro - Telford - Truro, (along with some other business) and I've got some more bits for my resto project, big thanks to Pete @gookah . What a lovely guy by the way.
This will probably just go onto the pile of other bits, rear shocks, brake discs, sills, front wings etc and wait an eternity for me to get my arse into gear to start the job. I was due to retire in 6 weeks time, 15th April, when I'd have plenty of time to get stuck into it, but I've changed my mind and I'm going to carry on for at least another couple of years, well, unless I change my mind again, or until the next time I fall out with the gaffa =))
