Rarely go to Lidl but was in there today so had to grab one ..Will use it on the lawnmower first see how it gets on.
I like the cakes and morning goods in Lidi
I tried the oil pump on Thursday it worked well did not flatten my battery plus no warm oil running down your arm

Not "for" the zed exactly. But for use "with" the zed. Does that count?

He wouldn't wear the pilot goggles so got him cool shades instead.

He likes to stick his head out the side of the Zed and I worry that he'll get a bumble bee in the eye or something.

I've never had a flat battery on the zed but it's worth keeping in the boot just incase. I also have a couple of old fergie tractors. It should be able to start a six litre petrol and three litre diesel engine.

Very envious - what more do you need than somewhere to store your car and the wood you've chop wood or in my case paid someone else to chop

Stop it! You'll never be in the house ;)
Oh yeah I keep forgetting about that house thing 😂
I'm equal parts stressed and excited it's true what they say about how stressful it is moving

Five minutes with a sturdy saw and you've got room for a nice hoist. Just thinking aloud.;)

A bit of an eclectic mix today.

IMG_3485.jpeg

Drive belt and water pump ready to be replaced along with the thermostat and rad hoses already in the garage.

Also some caps for the engine cover and a loom of doom repair kit.

Should keep me busy for a few hours!

Found that the passenger sun visor mirror was broken on my E89. On researching is a common issue due to the strength of the snap back. Went to source one from BMW and they are between £300 and £400 as is the extended leather one which is stiched leather rather than standard trim type. Have been periodically searching for second hand ones and haven't seen any that are in decent shape. They have been about £50. Until Tuesday when one popped up, it had been discounted and then an eBay voucher also available. Got it for £25. It's in perfect condition. So am chuffed.

If it has weights around the edge, might scratch the car. Stopped using mine for this reason.
