So looks like the 2.8 is in the lead :coolsteer)

Did the 2.8 sell more do you think?
Or just the best all rounder?

This has surprised me too... though it is a great car, for some reason I thought the 2.2 would have been the most popular..

I hope we're not going to do a colour one or the silver surfers will mob us again............

I bought a 2.0 zed in july 2011, at the time I had a choice of a 2.8 s reg or a 2.0 facelift individual w reg, I chose the newer one because I loved the look of it with the colour & the mv2 alloys but now often wish I went for the 2.8 as I find the 2.0 underpowered. I am going to see what the cash flow is like later on this year to see if I can afford to px for a 3.0 Z3

As I have two 2.8's can I have two votes?

my reasons are on my introduction so I shan't state them again here just I was taken out in Nice in a friends to go for a meal for my Birthday and decided I loved the car. I have no idea what engine he has (but it is Automatic and does not suit me in that) so when I could afford a Toy again I took out a couple and the first one I bought was the third I tried and I just loved the exhaust tone it is "different" the second one is also a 2.8 but does not have the same sound track. :ymsigh:

rather than create another post Both mine are pre facelift (called them wide body for some reason) I have no Idea why

Iwonder if most of the 2.8s are pre face lift and 97 98s it was a big engine up grade from 1.9s and would be a must have.

I had a 2.8 which I thought was a great car then I bought the ///M and found out all the things which I did not like about the 2.8. I cannot recommend this enough as an upgrade

Oh shucks but I can't afford two of them so I better not try a drive in one of them "M" things then or I'll end up disappointed in what I've got.....Nah! I don't think so lol
