Hope you can fit them Ant, they're gonna look real nice. Got 8.5 x18 35et on the front of mine running 225 with a hint of stretch which you've seen but haven't fitted my new -30 suspension yet. So fingers crossed.

Roy.

Ant mines on standard suspension and look like there's plenty of room but they get closer than you'd think, but having said that the manufacturers clearance using et35 gives a little more room to play with, you could allways go with a bit more tyre stretch on a slightly narrower tyre, I'm thinking for MOT it's the tread that has to be within the bodywork. (Tony will no doubt put me right on that one) Surely Spring travel will ultimately dictate clearance in the end, so might be a good idea to get to the dentist to reinforce your fillings first.;)

I'm running 8,5 et40 up front with a 225 tyre, bit of stretch. The tread is inside the wheelarch.
I do run -1 camber on the front but it was still just inside the arch without any camber.

Some camber adjustable top mounts are a good idea though, a little bit makes for much nicer front end bite I found.

I wondered if they might help a little more camber would tilt the top in and may be an answer if its alittle out in standard fit
