OK team, post getting my Bilsteins fitted and lowered 30mm I noticed that the rears now appear to sit a tad further inboard of the top of the arch (used to sit flush) having seen a recent thread on said subject I think this is the answer? A few pics (sorry, best I've got at the mo), what would you recommend? 10mm, 15mm or more to get it flush again.

Thanks in advance

I have 20mm on and lowered more than 30mm and its fine. Rubbed for a few days but all good after that. You should be fine with 20s at 30mm lowering but id say 15mm would be fine too

I'm on sport suspension so 15mm lower than standard. I went for 20mm on the rear.

These were took at Tony's just after we'd finished the suspension change.

I'm on 15mm on the rear mate, I recon I could push it to 20mm, in fact that was my plan to get some 20s and try the 15s on the front,

Cheers. I'll take a closer look when I get home to assess whether it's 15 or 20 then get some.

I had 20mm on the rear and 14mm on the front, I got these for my Z3 Andy and when I got the Z4 they went straight onto that.

Tony.

Fyi the reason the top is in further is due to the increase in camber when lowering.

some 15/20mm spacers will sort the look out

Thanks. I did take a look after the job was done and the wheels had been aligned and it was a marked difference.

How do you find the new suspension.
I'm still deliberating Bilstein B4 or Sachs for standard ride height, or lowering with Bilstein B12 kit.
Hedging towards standard as springs are quite new and standard is £230 for all 4 shocks.
May stick on 15mm spacers on the rear now after seeing these photos.

@Redsheep I had fitted the Bilstein B12 kit with Eibach 30mm lowering springs. The transformation is great, handles really well by comparison, though some of that could be attributed to very old shocks/springs that were replaced.

I've got standard B4's and Eibachs 30mm springs on mine and its so nice; sporty and looks great but still really comfortable.
