For Sale Z3 2.2 Scrapping - parts very cheap

Z3 2.2 Facelift
I am scrapping this having taken the Aircon, seats, centre console, hood motor and lining and wheels.

(There are no usable panels as has been wrapped at some point).

The remaining car is destined for the scrapyard, (very soon if my wife has her way!) so offering any usable parts to any forum members at very low prices as a favour.

Photos won’t really add anything to description: all external panels are useless due to wrapping and seats and centre console removed.

Picture worth 1000 words. What about the diff and rear trailing arms ..they are high value items and are worthy of a picture if they are good.

I’ve added a few external photos, and I’ll try to get the Z3 up on the lift for some underside photos.
I intend to keep the diff, and have interest in the trailing arms and rear subframe already. The exhaust is, I believe, in good condition - it sounds really nice: annoyingly better than my 2.8TU - why? - and the engine and gearbox drove very nicely, but are big items and would have to be collected.

Your 2.2 sounds the way it does as its essentially 2 pipes all the way to the rear whereas the 2.8 tu becomes one after the cats.
My 2.8tu has a center res delete makes them much more throaty on acell and burbuly on overun.

I want mine to be quieter, not louder!
Maybe the answer is to go with two pipes to a back box. But I suspect it’s not even that straight forward, as the 2.2 M54 has pre-cats in the exhaust manifold which will be helping to quieten the whole system down.

Which begs the question:
How does the 3.0 M54 sound in the facelift Z3 compared to the M52B28TU?

I’m in need of an “air pump check Valve”. I am attempting to get my wife (who passed away) back on the road. I drove it for 100 miles and on the way to the small shop in California that stupid light came on and that’s the code that came up. Unfortunately, my name is not associated Rockefeller so was hoping to find one used which would be cheaper. I just need to get it through a smog. It was sad to see your car go. They are fun to drive.
