If you'd watched the latest series of Clarkson's Farm you would know they have built a new much larger car park. Shop is still small though and very pricey. So go with deep pockets or don't bother.

This is going to be my first AV8 club meet, so I'm not sure what time you tend to knock it on the head and go your separate ways, however I'm planning on mosying over to Diddly Squat Farm before I head back up north. Anyone else will be welcome to tag along. It's quite a long way to go for me to just visit a farm shop, so it seems a good opportunity while I'm in that neck of the woods.

I am optimistically hoping that with nice-ish weather, the FA Cup final and Monaco GP qualifying it might be quieter than it would normally be on a Saturday afternoon. Hope springs eternal, and all that...
Everyone heads from the airport to Classic Motor Hub at about 12. The food at CMH is pretty limited and quite expensive, so some people take picnics, but basically you could be heading out by 13h30 quite easily.

I had lunch there about 18 months ago while the parking was still a bit ropey. Like you say, I think that’s improved now. The food and drink was very nice. Don’t recall how expensive it was, but yes, not exactly McDonalds.
Definitively worth a visit while in the area. Worst case scenario you have a look round and go somewhere else.
Another option is Caffeine&Machine or The Piston Club @ the stag on your way home up north.

By all accounts the food in the Big View Café is very good and cheaper than other places in the area.

Looking forward to the AV8 meet.
First time for me too.
I'm bringing my teenage Grandson along, he likes cars, but he loves Planes.
I expect to have a lovely English Breakfast, around 10-10.30 so I don't think lunch will be a problem :)

If you’re going to have breakfast at the av8 cafe, get there earlier than 10. Everyone hangs out near the cars from 10 onwards.

Cheaper than other places in the area, 'Soho Farm' for example :)
