Can't be wearing that new clutch out Willows long haul days are behind her now.Nice write up Lee some quality work going on as usual at zedshed hq.
So is that Niall's M all ready for a Scottish run in 3 weeks time
Wow great idea wonder why it didn’t catch on - for small clutches only? You're possibly thinking 80's Vauxhall Cavalier Mk11 where you didn't have to remove gearbox to replace clutch. Could do it in 30 mins
I quite like the tractor shift and clutch action on my 2.8, burns more calories that way. My watch asks if I’m working out when driving itOK so this evening I picked Willow up from the Zedshed HQ. Lee warned me she was a bit different. 1st thing the clutch was as light as a feather. Next she slipped into first with the engine off and a cold box. That would never be an option before. On the drive home it drove like a totally different car silky smooth and precise gear changes no sloppy lever and aligned perfectly. I realise now I have been driving a truck around for the past 4 and half years. Great job and thank you @Lee and ZedshedHQ. .....again.....
And did she go home with any additions to her plate...............this time?...Willow did look good in the zedshed too...
not this time. Plenty of time in the future. And did she go home with any additions to her plate...............this time?
Not this time but I bedded in his rear tyres for him.And did she go home with any additions to her plate...............this time?
Yeah that 5th pin is expensive now. You don’t actually need to change it, it’s the liner that wears away so you could opt for not buying the new 5th pin.@Lee - could I ask where you got the shifter pins from? BMW dealer? - the 5th gear one seems to fetching a price! Was there some sort of kit you can get all the locking pins/bushings in?
Only contactable via a spiritual medium I heard.Hi all, reviving an old thread after a bit of googling, was wondering how and where I can get the help of the Zedshed guys to get this exact work done on mine?
Thank you!
