Maybe, not sure yet. Nothing to do on my Zed but would be good to come over for a catch up.
Have we tempted you out on Saturday for a catch-up Dave? You know you want to 😂

Hi all. I have the dreaded red airbag warning light popped on the dash. Has anyone the kit to reset this please who is going on Saturday?

Can only be reset if the problem which caused it to come on in the first place is fixed. Common problems are wiring connectors under the seat have been disturbed (by moving the seat fully one direction or the other. Another driver recently?) or maybe the seat belt stalk is faulty.

That makes sense Tony. I think I’ve disconnected or nudged a connector under a seat as I was looking for something under the seats and since then, the red airbag light has appeared on the dash. Do I have a look to see if it’s obviously a broken connection under a seat and if so, will connecting the leads/wires knock the red airbag off the dash?

If it’s a connector come apart reconnecting would likely allow a re-set to work.

I’ll have a look Tony because I’m certain this is what caused the airbag light to come on.

Yes, I'll be coming over.
I've now checked and the Zed is due an oil change. If there's time Tony I'd like to do it while I'm over on Saturday. Not sure what other jobs are on the list for others?

Absolutely no problem Dave. Will be good to catch up mate. Drainers emptied the other day. I might even squeeze mine in too. I got 5 ltr of oil for almost £13 less than ECP in Lincoln, which covered a new filter plus some.

@t-tony do I need to bring/get anything else bar the shock absorbers and the door striker? Anything else that may be needed such as…?

Oil and filter if you want that doing Dawn. A pair of new strut top mounts would be a good idea too.

I can’t see why people are being picky about fitting new parts that you’ve supplied?
Tony.
Money, I think! They can't mark up the parts by 100%, so make less by labour only. I have a 'BMW specialist' down the road who flatly refuses to fit supplied parts, so I won't use him. He is just a greedy git!
