Not changing a thing me...........

Got the pole position correct!

The stupid thing is that I thought I had Hamilton down for the pole as I did it so long ago!! o_O

Morning guys. Just let me on to put my predictions in place. Must be because of the site crashing out yesterday.
Not seen footage of the F2 yesterday, all the video clips appear to be shut down at the moment due to things being investigated. Sounds awful though, no one wants to hear this but unfortunately it's an occupational hazard.

The accident looked horriffic.

You see a race car going into the side of another after a crash at speed and you know its not going to turn out well.

As you say @Grumps, it is an occupational hazard and as drivers and as fans you accept that theses things happen, no-one wants to see it, but we all want to see how fast someone can go wheel to wheel and it involves risk, and that it what we love about the sport. The adrenaline, the risk, the speed and the crashes that come with it.

We all love the high points, but with it comes the lows such as Saturday.

We have come accustomed to how safe modern race cars are and we almost expect the drivers to walk away from anything these days (remember Martin Brundle in Melbourne 96' or Robert Kubica in Canada 07' and Alonso in 17' at the same corner as Brundle!) and when a serious accident or a fatality does occur it shocks us that the sport we love can be so cruel.

At times like this we do have to remember how much the sport has progressed over the last 40 years and we have to think about the lives that the engineers and rule makers have saved during that time and be thankful for that too.

Unfortunately for the young frenchman this weekend, it just want enough.

My heart goes out to his family as I'm sure all of yours do too.

RIP Anthoine Hubert.

No problem mate. I've been on here a few years now and know lots of peeps and I like to try and have 5 minutes with everyone. Hopefully we will see you on more events now you have the bug! We do plenty of runs into the peaks through the year so you'd be welcome to join some of those.

I got 138, which was top again. (Sorry guys!, but it's my first year at this!).

Thats a real shame @Grumps, you were doing so well! You're not far behind Paul and Bringit96 however so a couple of good results over the next few races could see you 4th or even 3rd depending how it goes!

It helps that I've got Mercedes, Ferrari, and Redbull as my 'home' teams as they usually pick up the most points anyway so my predictions have a lesser effect.

I'm currently 434th in the overall standings, which compared to 4030th at the first race isn't too shabby.:)
I'll be happy if I can get into the top 200 by the end of the season with the way things are going. :wideyed:
