Ah, I get you. That's actually not us, it's intended 'humour' of the WordPress developers!

You can hide the WordPress top bar if you don't like it. You will then also find the site Search button which is hidden behind it.

Click where it says "Howdy, hard top", and choose "Edit My Profile". Remove the tick from "Show Toolbar when viewing site" and click "Update Profile" at the bottom of the page.

Hope that helps.

Now having seen it, it is cheesey! Fully agree with you Boysie. Have you managed to turn it off using my instructions?

It might need a clearing of temporary files in your browser, or logging off and back on to the site, but, howdy should now have gone and changed to "Logged in" - or something along those lines.

Hope that's suitable. I'll look at editing the code so it can say something else if preferred

"Good Zorging" would be better than "Howdy"
It made us sound like a right bunch of cowboys .............

Nuts

James, do you ever sleep? Or just live on these things?

Due to Brazil nuts' high selenium content, these chunky, tasty nuts can be seen as a "complete" protein source.

Here's a thought... Maybe not do-able??
Have a map of the UK with hyperlinked pins to events.
Hover over pin for date and location, click pin to event thread.
Result....quick slick overview of everything.
Certain coloured pin for event not yet happened another colour for link to thread
for after event pics and follow up.

Tell me to shut up if I'm getting carried away :D
Snoops, you have pins! Blue are shows and red are cruises at the moment. Still in development so let us know what you think. You can either click the Event Location Map under the Events menu option or go direct here: http://zroadster.org/event-location-map/

Clicking on the pins gives more details and a link to a thread or more info

Superb - I think that looks great. :-bd

I think people will want to know how pins will appear - i.e. the mods will pick up the threads (or whatever)
and sorry but the Silverstone link isn't working.

and before HT sees it - unless you've left it for him to do himself :p , our Dutch Cruise is missing

I knew you could do it.... did you manage to do it on the free version??

Yes this is the free version. We need someone to keep track of all the events so we can keep the info up to date but I think Gary is looking into that. It's a bit of messing around with the code I showed you but I think does what you wanted :)
