Minor addition to the site - Notifications

These will be used to let you know what's going on and to draw your attention to certain items. This should help improve awareness of site features, and allow us to communicate with the members more effectively.

In the 2 examples below, you can see what notifications you may see. The first is to notify new users of specific features. The second is to give specific users a message.

The X in the top right corner will temporarily close the Notification
The Dismiss Notification link (if present) will close the Notification permanently

I'm pretty sure they don't. Robots are automated scripts run by search engines to index the content on this site.

Just noticed something really cool when watching an embedded YouTube video in a thread. I'm assuming this is iPad specific, but may work on android tablets too.

If you push your fingers outwards (opposite of "pinching") the video it will play it full screen. When you have watched it you can pinch the video back to the normal thread view.

No they aren't taking over!

Out of the total of 10 'robots' on the site at the moment we have Google, Bing, Baidu & Yandex crawling content to index. Some of these robots have multiple instances. Bing currently has 3, and Baidu has 4 crawlers running.

They are perfectly normal, and completely harmless. In fact the exact opposite because without them, we would not appear in search engine results. In an way it's a mark of success that we have so many search engines visiting us.

I live in the Matrix. I take a daily dose of both the blue and red pill!

I also have some yellow, red and green pills. Those are for other issues though :bag: :nailbiting:
