Max Verstappen's father, Jos, says his son needs to "think more" after his crash with Sebastian Vettel in China and that he was "disappointed" in the manoeuvre.

FIA race director Charlie Whiting expects Verstappen to learn from his ill-judged move.

Red Bull principal Christian Horner has said that Max Verstappen's mistakes remind him of a young Sebastian Vettel.

Max Verstappen says the Baku street circuit at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is not "ideally suited" to the Red Bull car.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner says Daniel Ricciardo is "absolutely at the top of his game" after winning the Shanghai Grand Prix.

Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso will be replaced by Formula 2 driver Lando Norris at McLaren at the end of the season.

Alonso has grown increasingly frustrated with McLaren for not giving him a car to be able to challenge the likes of Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull.

According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, up-and-coming Formula Two driver Lando Norris will replace the two-time world champion.
The 18-year-old Norris, from Glastonbury, is highly regarded in the world of motorsport.

Alonso could then be open for a surprise move to Mercedes or Ferrari as both team have a second seat opening up at the end of the year.

The Silver Arrows are expected to part ways with Valtteri Bottas to find someone who can help them to a one-two finish in 2019.

Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen, 38, is also considering calling retirement.

Force India driver Sergio Perez is being lined up as a potential replacement for Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari next season.

Mercedes are keen on forging closer technical links with their customer Formula 1 teams, which include Force India and Williams, in the same manner that Ferrari work with Haas.

Mercedes chairman Niki Lauda says Red Bull's Max Verstappen was 70% to blame for the collision with team-mate Ricciardo during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

A bit old hat drinking from a shoe, it was one of our initiation ceremonies when I joined up in '83, a scanking fire boot was filled with beer and you had to neck it. I'll trade make that the booty =))

Our old fire boots when I joined up, painted weekly with blue dye, nice dribbles down your shirt :depressed:
