Well I'd prefer a 6cyl, and I wasn't going to pay $4000 for a 190k car.

I do like Frankies but I don't have that much money to start. I am well aware that in my $3000 range I'm gonna be doing some work to it.

I'm amazed that in the USA which has so many cars that people are still asking these prices for cars like that.

Now you know why I drive a RHD that I bought in Hounslow! Shipped to Canada and my drive less than I could have bought a car in NA. Now the exchange rate is not as favourable!! That's why my TOO!! Car got broken by Andy. JIM

I am contemplating an offer on the one with a good top. But only like $2800. I WISH I could find a car like Frankie's

The search continues

1999 2.3 manual with 130k, at a dealer. Asking $4000. Hopefully I'll get up there today to look. It's been on the lot a while, was $5000, still hoping to get it for under $3500

Patience! I don't know the American market but these prices seem a lot to me for condition. Stick with it, the right car will turn up!

I think to be honest the £-$ makes them look dearer than they actually are. $3,500 is £2,400 approx. for a 1999 2.3 in average condition it's not that much more than over here. But in the end just because someone asks a certain amount doesn't necessarily mean he'll get it, and that applies anywhere.

Tony.

Thanks Tony was just about to say the same! Take a look Matt and offer what you think it's worth. If they won't play ball walk and keep looking! You'll know the one when it shows up. JIM
