Welcome Katie, a lot of water leaks also come from the header tank lower seal, worth a look, but you can add a fluorescent dye to your coolant similar to checking the sir on for leaks, then use a black lighting see where the water is going. I would also look at all the water hoses and joints these cars are quite old and rubber does perish, so I would check all the simple things before moving onto the expensive items.
