I seem to remember this was a bit of trial and error. I took everything off the beam to begin with as I cleaned it up and repainted it – the drive shafts just slide out of the diff. I think I tried to fit the beam on its own first, then the diff. However, I seem to remember that there almost no clearance to do up the bolts holding the diff, so I think you need to put the diff in before you can fit the beam. I would then do up with prop shaft while there’s more space under the car (assuming you don’t have 2 post lift!). After that, just fit each rear arm and driveshaft.

They are held in by a circlip on the end of the shaft it all you need is a lever between the shaft and the diff. face.

Tony.
