I've seen pauls roof his window is intact and still zipped in but the right hand side of the roof itself has split apart leaving a huge gap between the window and the roof material and has been duck taped back together
Sounds as though he needs a new roof Steve?

Tony.

F@#$ing unsuccessful =))=))=))=))=))

Well we tried and tried over and over. Every time, the last corner has too much zip leftover on the hood so it kinks and splits open.
If we adjust the starting point it makes it not fit in a different area.

Then the bast**ding zip snapped so had to tie some string to it, which actually helps leverage at times, just to get the window out.
But we have given up for today.

Doesn't help I sliced my thumb open at work today :arghh::sorry:
I ve had a couple fitted in mine but the main stealers did it. I was informed the technicians or mechanics or whatever they call themselves all acted busy when they saw the job come in

So I finally got around to got to g the old window repaired. And just had a go at fitting.
He uses your existing zip, and sews it onto a new piece of window.
Good idea, I gather it works for a lot of peoole.
But he has sewn the thread too close to the zip teeth, so the teeth when they go through the zip aren't close enough to the zip teeth on the hood, and they won't go together.

Not sure if that makes any sense at all haha...

Still no window anyway
