I have god knows how many company cars, the first one being when I was 19 (before you think, lucky so-and-so, let me tell you that it was a Sunbeam Talbot!)

I have actually only ever owned six cars which were all "fun" cars apart from the Z3 which is my daily hack

Now then...

Believe it or not, the first car I ever owned was a Triumph TR6. I'll have you know that the sunglasses I'm wearing were all the rage in the early 1980s!

Here is a Youtube film of it

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpH9Jw3DI6w

Then I bought a 1947 Riley RMA - a beautiful looking car and faster than you might think

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BQ_ep49hhk

Then in 1997 I bought my favourite car, which I will never, ever sell. A 1963 Triumph TR4

Yep, you guessed it - here's the YouTube film (bloody YouTube have deleted the audio!!)

In 2006, during a moment of madness I bought a MGF VVC because it was going cheap (but then don't they all?). I kept it for a couple of years and to be fair, it never gave me any trouble.

In 2011 I bought a 1975 Triumph Stag - which I still own

This picture was taken near Stavelot in Belgium with the Stag competing with a Mirage for which is the most beautiful!!

So, I currently own a TR4, a Stag and a Z3. Happy days

Rover 214 SLI
MGB 1.8 roadster - 69, whire wheels & chrome bumper - first to mod with a race tuned / bored out 2ltr engine...
RR 1982 - in Vogue (Gold - first 4 door rangie)
Jag XJS 89 - pre face lift 3.6 auto
Saab 9000 2.3 full turbo (fast in a straight line, hopeless at corners!)
Jag XJS 91 - post face lift 4 ltr manual - british racing green - awesome car
RR 1994 LSE started as a 4.2 v8 ended up as a chipped 5ltr v8
Freelander - too boring
Alfa 156 2ltr petrol
LR 1955ish S1
LR 1961 S2
RR 1997 (P38a) diesel - stage 2 tuned
RR 1996 (P38a) petrol 4.6
Mondeo estate (temporary car awaiting order or new car)
Kuga 2 ltr diesel - current
BMW Z3 3.0 auto (would have had manual, but was sister's old car) - current

Correction it would have been a Talbot Subeam, unless you are much older than I am. A Sunbeam Talbot was circa 1950's if memory serves. Now, if it had been a Lotus Sunbeam, that's another story.

The Sunbeam Alpine was a great car basically the same under the skin as a Hillman Hunter,Humber Sceptre,Singer Vogue,et al. Unfortunately all were rot boxes. Got a lift to the Lincolnshire show in an Alpine when I was an old boy it was a great ride.

I don't think there are the nicest looking car in the world but they are rare and with a V8 it must oh like hell. His also got a Sunbeam Rapier just sitting outside too !!! I might offer him £1000 for the two !!

Hi Ray, this one?

upload_2014-5-4_14-4-58.jpeg

My old man had lots of company cars down the years.
Just some of the ones I can remember, not sure of the colours as the photos I have seen are all black and white.
Morris Minor Estate (jelly mold on sticks) green I think.
1960's something Mini, red I think.
Ford Anglia, sky blue I think.
Ford Escort MK1, white I think. (he was offered a Capri after that but did not like the two tone)
And the dog.......Austin Allegro in a $hitty mustard brown colour.
