MOT pass today and no advisories, looking forward to the year to come and using it more, my aim is to get it passed 140,000 by next year!

Did you run at all without it? I am very curious how much effect it has and what are the side-effects of removing itExhaust vibration absorber. The old one had come loose and was sliding back and forward on it's bolt. Left like that it would probably start acrack in the silencer, first reaction was take it off and forget it but then I thought it must have some positive function so a new one fitted.

No noticeable difference but I never had the chance to go over about 80 when it was off. It is marked 85 HZ, I don't know what sort of RPM that comes at. mine being an auto the revs are always fairly low when cruising.Did you run at all without it? 85Hz is equivalent to 5100rpm, but not sure how relevant that is to the exhaust.
