These things are held up by six sets of triple coil springs (big one, smaller one, even smaller one inside eachother), you learn not to f*ck with them.

The last one I bought of ebay, about ten years ago, I still have. Because it never worked in the first place..
Is that to wash the dog as well? Dog looks a bit worried

How much are they T?
Finally got round to fitting the Zedonist Angel eyes into rebuilt headlamps, the Sonar ones shown in my avatar were ok but just a bit too much bling for me.
Did you purchase the indicator angel eyes or the std?
They are the standard ones.

I did them myself using a heat gun, you can see the sealant melting as you play the heat on it, not very difficult. Initially I thought they would go in front of the lenses so took the front cover off but wasn’t keen on that look so took the back cover off and put them behind the lenses. Zedonist suggests that this is the more professional look and I agree. In all I separated four headlights front and back to end up with the best overall lights, two were missing fixing tabs and I wanted to use real glass lenses from the pre facelift lights I bought. I wouldn’t be put off from doing it again so can’t have been so hard.
Many years ago I used the oven method and ended up with a ruined miss-shaped light due to the open flame in the oven.

! I am thinking of trying it myself in the summer perhaps, but also my driver headlight has started to yellow since I have a facelift lenses... so your idea of replacing that with glass is also a good idea to be combined in one go...

Long story short, I had a touch of that covid stuff a few months back that left me a tired old man. Didn't have far to go, anyway. Finally got round to fiddling with the Z last week and thought it seemed a bit lower than normal, OSR spring has collapsed. Hence the need for some new ones.
And they are shiny, which is always good.
Now I just need to summon up some energy to fit them.

I found these Style-42 here in Denmark and I am seriously thinking of getting them as I love this design. The tires are garbage but I don't mind, the only issue that I need advice from your expertise is the following corrosion in one of the front wheels. Can I polish it? Is it fixable?
That's very common on style-42 wheels, the outer lip has some sort of clear coat from the factory under which it will oxidise after several years.
That's nothing that a decent wheel repair shop couldn't fix, it's even doable without taking the wheels apart.
I'd advise against fixing yourself though, that's no DIY job without the proper tools. It needs to be sanded down prior to polishing and that will be a PITA if you do it yourself. Ask me how I know
