What have you bought for your Zed this week?

Nothing for the zed, just doing a bit of cosmetic work on the oil burner.

It does enough for me, picked it up straight from the SGS factory in Derby as it's just down the road. The other trolley jack I've got came from Lidl some years ago and does it's job.

Collected today on my way home.

Tony.

I've a tendency to buying stuff I don't really need, but… Got this pair of covers for the hardtop mounting kit at an astronomical cost, but they look good:

The arrows are pointing at bits that are not included. I am silly, but not silly enough to spend yet more money for those… ;)

Are they as expensive as those fancy covers for an E85 Z4?

Tony.

Well, don't know about that, but I paid €107.00 each, which I think is a bit expensive for some extruded plastic covers...

I guess that's inflation for you. There was a time I'd pay less than that for a complete working car..........
(Sighs and shuffles off whinging about the good old days.)

Yep, my first sports car (a Spitfire 4) cost me £90.00. It was a bit rubbish mind, but had lots of fun with it! :)
Eh! I have a Spitfire IV (1972) that I bought some six years ago. I paid considerably more than £90.00 for it, though. ;)

I do agree with the assertion that as a sports car, it's rubbish. I should have bought the GT6...

Mine was a 1963 Spitfire 4 (Mk1) bought in 1973. Had a 1973 GT6 in 1980; rattled like anything and quite rusty then. Build quality poor really, but standard at the time. :)
