I am after a genuine BMW Z4 wind deflector with brackets (hellishly expensive with BMW), Does anyone one know where i could locate one cheaper??

Does your boot lid have the storage brackets attached underneath, if it has it will have had one at some point.
I rang a friend to see if he kept the one he bought for his wife car but unfortunately he fitted it and let it go with the car.

Found this on eBay worth contacting to see if they will post.

That's nice to hear. These brackets could be worth getting but ask if they'll post them. I can't understand why people put adds on eBay as collection only. Pointless really.

Yet again tried to bid for the wind deflector on Ebay. And yet again out bid in the last second. Just wish I could find one just to buy outright. Apart from BMW obviously.

There is a small hole in it but might be worth a look.

So you don't have the brackets? If so, you need to install them as well, might be easier going fir the leather ones as they just fit over the role hoops!

All you need is to have a look at someone's car and measure where abouts to drill the holes for the bracket mounting screws. A local member did this using my car. Also Dave @Mint fitted one on his Z4 a couple of years ago.

Also you can try contacting breakers because some cars, like mine, will have a psir of brackets attached ti the inside of to the boot lid where you store the deflector when not in use. I never use mine to store it to be honest as it remains on all the time because I find it reduces glare for following headlights. I also had a piece of perspex cut to fit inside the frame which is where I mount my rear facing camera.

Thanks for the help. Found a breaker selling one with brackets. They want stupid money for it. Crazy. Don’t know what the going rate is though.

If you price one at BMW you'll realise that the breakers know their real S/H value. I'm looking for one with a totally ruined mesh, still looking.
