Rosberg wins in Bahrain

1. Rosberg wins, Raikkonen 2nd, Hamilton 3rd after first-corner collision
2. Bottas penalised for hitting Hamilton
3. Vettel's engine fails on way to the grid
4. Vettel, Palmer, Button, Gutierrez, Sainz out

Great couple of races so far IMHO.
Good live TV coverage on Channel 4 with no adverts during the race.
You can say what you like about Hamilton but after getting T-boned by Bottas at the first corner and dropping back to 10th, he fought his way back to 3rd place with a damaged car with bits falling off, did not even change his busted up front wing during the whole race.
Hats off to Grosjean and the new Yank team Haas F1 to get 5th, but the car is basically a Ferrari but having said that, they lost their other car and Vettel's engine blew up.
Hats off also to Verstappen in his Toro Rosso to get 6th, the lad is only 18 years old, only got his normal driving licence last year.
Man of the match though must go to Stoffel Vandoorne in the McLaren who finished 10th in his first race ever in F1 in Alonso's car..!!

That moment when a two-time former world champion is beaten to picking up McLaren's first points of the season by a rookie who wasn't even meant to be racing...

Formula 1's governing body the FIA has formally approved the return to the 2015 qualifying format in time for this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix.

Teams last week forced a U-turn from F1 bosses Jean Todt and Bernie Ecclestone, who had previously refused to back a return to the knock-out format.

This came after a new system proved a failure at the opening two races.

The FIA said on Monday the decision to revert to the old format had passed the phases of the legislative process.

That means it has now been approved unanimously by both the F1 Commission, on which there are representatives of all the teams, as well as sponsors, circuits and tyre supplier, and the FIA World Council.

And that's also a load of crap. They should go back even further and have ALL the cars out on track like they used to! That sorts the men from the boys and cuts out so much of the artificial computer generated results. Not going to happen though..........................
